How will this HDD preform in gaming?

I have a 2.5" HDD 5400 rmp and am wondering how it will work for BF3?

  1. Slow loading times, but assuming you've got a nice system otherwise it should work fine.
  2. Spin rate should be minimum of 7200 rmp and have a large cache size (64MB) and it should be a SATA drive. Nothing stopping you from using it, note that video, system memory and processor speed will be the primary areas that will compromise BF3 performance, so if you don't have a beefy gaming rig, your selection of HDD's is a mute point.
