Hi all i have a talktalk broardband connection to my desktop provided by a USB speedtouch330 router,

I have connected a netgear wireless router to the computer via an ethernet cable and have successfully put it on

the Home network.

My USB router is connected to the internet and all is well, but the wifi router wont connect to the internet through its

Ethernet connection...

In the "Network and Sharing Center" for the WiFi Router it states:

Access Type: No Internet Access

Homegroup: Joined

Connections: Local Area Connection

Thanks!

Easier to set up this way:
Connect Cable modem to router via Ethernet, then connect PC to router via ethernet. Do not use the USB connection. Follow instructions for the router to obtain a dynamic IP address from the cable modem (WAN).
