I have an HP Pavilion 6600z, motherboard is m2n68-la, OS is Windows XP Pro with sp3. I bought a new OEM cd of XP Pro to do a repair install. After three days, it is installed but no mouse. Can't activate the OS without the mouse. How do I get the mouse back?

you might need to use your keyboard to navigate to check at Device Manager if the mouse is working or not
