Do I need to upgrade my E8400?

I'm going to be purchasing a gtx 460 1gb as an upgrade to my 8800gt 512mb. I was wondering if I should also look into upgrading my CPU (but of course that would also include a new mobo and new ram), but I haven't been able to find any good charts to see how well my CPU is still holding up to other ones on the market.

What do you guys think? Needs an upgrade or not? Thanks in advance!

The E8400 is still a fast dual core, and is just as fast/slightly behind the Core iX series in games which use two cores or less, anything with three cores you'll see the Core 2 Quads and Core i5s and i7s take over, although I'd assume the performance difference wouldn't be too great. If you needed a new CPU, you could just buy a Core 2 Quad Q9550 or for under $200 at Micro Center if you live nearby.

If you need a boost just overclock the crap out of it! Mine hits 4ghz+ very easily.
