Quick Windows 7 Installation Question

I will be building a new system and am planning on installing Windows 7. My question is if I can just borrow somobody's instalation DVD and use my own product key? If so are all the versions on the disc and the product key decides what version to install? Thanks for your time!

I believe you'll have a choice of which one to install, and yes if you have your own CD key you'll be fine...

Although I figured out Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit doesn't even need a CD key... only after you install the update (that is unchecked ironically) would you need it. I just installed it and didn't bother to install that one particular update and I'm good
