Need to unprotect Toshiba 32GB flash drive

Somehow, my flash drive decided it wanted to be write-protected. There is no external switch. The directory is all special characters. There is data on the drive I do not want to lose so I don't want to format the drive. Tried fixing it in Regedit but there is no directory for StorageDevicePolicies.
