How to reset BIOS from Gigabyte GA-P35_DS3L motherboard

Hello,
I have a problem with a desktop PC. When I start the PC, the system locks and I see only a black screen with a white cursor. I'm not sure what causes this behaviour. But maybe I need to reset the BIOS. Do need to insert a jumper on the two pins?

Unplug the power supply at the back of the case. If the cmos jumper is just two pins, then covering it briefly will reset the bios. If it's three pins, then moving the jumper over one position keeping two of the pins covered at all times will also reset; be sure to return it to the original position or remove the jumper for a two pin setup before you power up again.
