Hello,

A friend of mine has a T20 IBM Thinkpad which has just gone out of warranty.
The laptop has a dark screen (suspected backlight broken?), which did
occasionally return to full brightness, but is now remaining dark.

Is this the backlight? And if so, has it reached the end of it's natural
life (3+ years)? Or is it a matter of the connection? And does anyone have
any idea what would be the best thing to do (i.e. is it worth repairing?)
