Aerocool Touch-1000 question

Hello all,
I just picked up my touch-1000 from the store and I had a question while reading the manual.
In the manual, it says you have to connect the fan1 cable to the CPU fan and the MOBO.
See, the thing is, I don't want to change my CPU fan speed, I want the mobo to do that for me.
Do I really have to connect it to the cpu fan? Do i have to connect 4 fans or can i just connect 2?

You don't have to connect it to the cpu fan. connect it to whatever fan you want.

no, you don't have to connect 4 fans, 2 is fine (1 is fine, 3 is fine, 0 is fine...)

yes, but it was with the aerocool touch 2000
