ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Would really like to see if I can fit a Radeon 5970 into the budget. Also I was deciding between Antec 1200 or the HAF 932 and have no idea what to get. If there is a better choice than those 2, even better.

I heard that i7 930 is still $200 at Micro Center? Also I don't think I need the mobo/os combo because I already have a copy of Windows 7 Home.

$210 + tax at micro center if you're near one.

You can just drop the OS then long as it's 64 bit.

Cool, also, I am pretty new at system building and I was looking at some of the customer reviews for the UD3R and I was kind of thrown off because a lot of people were complaining about mobo failures. Is there any other mobo with a better track record with customers?

can go the asus route
same price with their promo code thing


gigabyte and asus r sort of the standard two companies people recommend for mobos
they seem to be fairly reliable

No major issues with either company. But sure, since you don't need OS grab the ASUS (their support is a bit better).

Can't stack promo and combo's usually.

Awesome. I was wondering, do I need any extra cooling for the CPU? If so, what should I get?

There's a HSF already in the build, the CM hyper 212 plus.
