my specs:
i7860
asus p7p55d-e pro
antec 900 v2
corsair 650tx
western digital 500gb
corsair h50 cpu cooling
pny gts 250 1gb ddr3
corsair 4gb dd3

my question is if i what to do sli later on the 650 power supply is enough or i should get the cordair750tx or more power
thanks
my budget is $2000 so money is no issue
or i should change to 1366 i7920 and the asus p6x58d

The 650W should be more than enough, however it's not a bad idea to go with the 750W as you may want to upgrade further down the road and it would not be detrimental to the configuration as it is now with one card.

Solution


Depends on what the rig is for, as to if you need to go i7 920 or not. If this is for gaming i would change a few things

i5 750
Same mobo
case CM-922
HDD Samsung F3 500 or Seagate 7200.12 500
Ram if you like to OC and seeing you have a HSF in the build, i would think you will OC get DDR3 1600 CL7 volts under 1.65
HSF is ok but you can get a air cooler for less money
GPU will depend on your monitors rez if its 1920X1080 HD 5850 or HD 5870 a 750W PSU will be good to xfire and OC your CPU
or GTX 470 or GTX 480 if you will SLI the GPUs i would go with a 850W ( they run hotter and need more power then the ATI cards.
