is it ever worth it?

I'm trying to find a way to get a New desktop computer to replace my Old 5+ yrs computer.

Basically, I'm playing WOW and surfing the net. My current AGP card seems to be doing Worse under Win 7 than it was under Win XP.

So I'm looking at making the jump to a PCI motherboard, use the on-board graphics, and then drop a couple hundred on a new hot card when I save up some more cash.

Also, I've been trying to find a chart on here I was looking at last week, and for the life of me can't find it today. It basically ranked all the ATI card versions and compared them to the equivalent Nvidia cards. Anyone got a link they can post?

No its not worth it to get an Integrated card for smooth gaming.
You can check Toms'hardware charts which compares both Nvidia and ATI VGA's

Ya, I saw the graphics charts, and thats not the one I was looking at. This was a straight text chart, that showed if you had say NVidia 7300, its ATI Equal was a XXXXX.

I don't know about that but with Tom's charts or from other sites like Guru3D etc You'll get the general idea about the performance
