Synology DS412+ vs. Qnap 1GB TS-269 PRO

Which is better in the long term? I care about reliability and good internal management more than speed.

I can read reviews, but please tell me any personal experience.
Personally I don't have a complex multi-domain network.

Well I didn't get much feedback.
But from reading lots of posts and sites, the Synology DiskStation DS411j seems good enough for me.
