i dont know weather its a windows customization error or my laptops.

normally, as soon as i use to plug in my earphones in the line-out jack, realtek hd opened and i selected line-out

now, music is playing from both; speakers and earphones

how do i get my computer to recognize the line-outs also not only the line-ins?

More about : isnt line port recognizing earphones

Open realtek manager go to microphone and set it.

It's irrelevant what is physically connected to the line, if it can generate a sound it will generate a sound.

Is it actually a 'Line Out' because if it is, it is a non-pre amped single and wont work with headphones. Headphones need a pre-ampled single to work.

thanks guys i've found out how to do it ...
open realtek
double click the line-out option on the right
say enable pop-up when plugged in or sommet like that
tick the dialouge box
and next time you insert the earphones they recognize it
cheers guys
