Harddrive very noisy

Ok so I built my own pc back in April. Tight budget gaming PC(370$). So I bought a refurbished HDD. I am now noticing it makes a lot of noise(http://youtu.be/20E3RZ0uQIs It sounds like this, this isn't my video/drive just the same sound). Lately my computer seems to be running a little sluggish. Also, sometimes it makes "chirping" noises.

1 x Open Box: BIOSTAR A870 AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard
1 x SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card
1 x RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-630SS 630W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power
1 x AMD Athlon II X3 455 Rana 3.3GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Desktop Processor ADX455WFGMBOX
1 x G.SKILL Value Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory
1 x Refurbished: Seagate Barracuda ES ST3750640NS 750GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive
1 x Sony AD-7280S-0B 24x SATA Internal DVD+/-RW Drive (Black)

I googled around and ran a program called CrystalDiskInfo, it gave a Caution to Health Status for Reallocated Sectors Count. Current 100, Worst 100, Threshold 36.
Also it says power-on 31354 hours.
Should I be worried be the amount of hours on my 2 month old refurb? Do I RMA this drive? Can I RMA this drive, since it was refurbished?
I am thinking of buying a another HDD anyways, since my old computer was IDE and the HDDs are useless(30+10 gigs). Should I try refurbished again? Or just go for a new one?

More about harddrive noisy
  1. It sounds like your drive has bad media or weak heads. BTW, you have omitted the important raw data for the reallocated sector count. The raw value of the attribute stores the actual number of reallocated sectors. I suspect that currently this number is less than 40. If this value increases regularly, then I would replace the drive.
  2. Ok thats the whole report the CrystalDiskInfo gives. Sry for omitting the raw value. It is 000000000002.
    And thanks for the help!

Two reallocated sectors wouldn't be a concern if it were a new drive, but since it has been refurbished, I'm wondering if it has had a history of bad sectors. If so, then the refurbishment procedure may simply have transferred these earlier bad sectors from the G-list (Grown defect list) to the P-list (Primary defect list). But that's only speculation on my part.

The other attribute that would concern me is the Seek Error Rate. Currently your drive has recorded 20958 (= 0x51DE) seek errors out of a total of 562,562,749 (= 0x218806BD) seeks.

  4. i would see if there a warranty on that drive and set up an rma.

Ok, I tried to read that link... But I only understood maybe 80% of it lol.
I will convince the wife to let me buy a new HDD, and transfer my data over before I try to RMA this drive.
    Thanks for all your help!
