My computer has been running fine up to now. A few days ago it started acting weird, programs that normally ran fine would crash and the computer would be very slow at times. So I restarted thinking it would fix the problem. Did it hell. Now whenever the computer gets to the Starting Windows stage a blue screen flashes for an instant then the computer restarts. I haven't changed anything about the computer so I have no idea what is causing it. Thinking it was Windows I tried re-installing, but the setup never starts, it just freezes at black. I took my hard drive to my brother's computer and re-installed successfully there. Didn't change anything. Now I am thinking it's a hardware problem, but I have no idea how to tell what is causing the problem.

Specs:
Intel i7 860
Gigabyte P55A-UD6
4GB DDR3 1333Mhz 1.5v RAM
780w Hiper Power PSU

Homebuilt.

check ur cpu temp from bios.....if it aceptable, load default settings n try.

if u stll fail, take out all but one ram stick. if problem stoll persists, then use a different stick.

still no good, swap ur psu.

still problem, give us more onfo on ur trst results n wat actually happens.
