  1. ^ You dint mention your screen resolution here...And the Parts that are not required...
    Some changes...
    1. Mobo - Get the PRO-E version...It has SATA 6GB/s and USB 3.0 implemented onboard...
    2. HDD - Get the Samsung F3 1TB - Cheaper, is pretty fast and beats the Black in most of the cases and is efficient because of 500GB/ platter design...

Is the ram and power supply ok?
  3. Those are both fantastic choices for RAM and PSU.
  4. Is everything compatible?
  5. If I got the memory listed above wouldn't I have to overclock?
  6. Yes everything is compatible. You would not be overclocking the RAM per say, because is already designed to run at the advertised speed. Most motherboards cap RAM speeds at 1333, so a simple change in the BIOS to 1600 fixes that. Its just telling the motherboard what speed the RAM is operating at.
  7. I changed my CD/DVD burner to an ASUS, or should I bo back to a Sony?
  8. Its 6 of one really, they are all pretty much the same. Just get the cheapest one, usually one is on sale for like $20
  9. Does the CM692 have any extra fan slots that I can buy or are they all included?
  10. I have a lot of questions :X

Samsung or Western Digital black HDD
    P7P55D-EPro or P7P55D Pro
  11. There is space for four more 120mm fans. The new CoolerMaster 90cfm/19dBa fans are pretty popular: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103063&cm_re=case_fans-_-35-103-063-_-Product
  12. Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB HDD is faster and quieter, go with it.

Get the E since it has USB3.0 and SATAIII.

I just wanted to say YOU ARE A BIG HELP! And if I do get those fans will I be able to turn off the lights?
  14. I am not sure about being able to turn them off. I am a fan of the Antec tri-cool fans. They are a little more expensive than most, ~$15, but they have three speeds, and have a no-LED version (what I have).
  15. Oh btw I have more than enough wires right?
  16. Yea your motherboard will give you all the SATA plugs you will need, and the PSU will have all the connections you need to power it up.
  17. They should be included with the case.
  18. Where do the spacers/stand offs come from case or mobo?
  19. And do DVI cables come with the monitor or the sapphire card I have up there? (Probably last question)
  20. Most monitors come with at least a VGA cable, I know Asus ships VGA and DVI cables with their monitors, Samsung did not (just from my past experiences with these brands). Regardless of what monitor you get, it will at least come with VGA. Your GPU will probably come with an adapter to go from DVI > VGA. So that can get you by until you get a DVI cable.
  21. Any suggestions before I purchase?
  22. Should I buy a sound card?
  23. No the onboard sound with the motherboard will be great.

I love you; Is there a way to give you reputation on this board?
  25. Should I buy any extra fans for my CM 690 ii Advanced?

You can select something someone says as the "best answer" which gives them points on the board, sort of like reputation.

I think the RC-690 has pretty awesome airflow to begin with, it can utilize 7 fans all-together, so you could maybe add a fourth to the side if you want. Ideally you want negative pressure in the case, meaning the airflow out is higher than the airflow in. You can just add the cfms of the respective fans to figure it out. Negative pressure causes cool air from the room to be drawn in through vents, and helps the circulation process.
  27. You can give him 'best answer' and it'll give him a sorta 'rep'. :]
  28. Should I buy my version of Windows 7 or PIRATE? xD
  29. Do what you want cause a pirate is free!

But no really, Id pay for it..
  30. It's not worth the hassle, I would say pay the $100 for Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
