My bios is no longer recognizing my hard drive

Hello,
i don't know what's wrong with my bios bcouse it's no longer recognizing my hard driver. actually before there was nothing special done to my pc which would have lead to such problems. So as i was saying no hardware removed or replaced.

If no connections are loose, then the hardrive could be failing. Any clicking noises previously?

I had a similar problem with my computer. It would intermittently not see one of my hard drives. It turned out to be loose terminal pins on the power connector cable. I tightened them with a metal pick (with the power off!) and plugged it back in. Problem solved.
