My mobo is'n working correctly so the computer store told me I could get another one.
I want to buy a better mobo than the rampage ll gene and I'm willing to pay extra.
games I play are: crysis, call of duty, bf-bad company 2, dirt2 and metro2033

my rig atm:

core i7-920
asus rampage II gene
6gb kingston hyperx ddr2 memory
gc=sapphire radeon hd 5970 2gb
750W power supply
samsung spinpoint 1tb 7200rpm

-I don't care to much about usb2.0 or 3
-my case is the antec nine hundred two so it has to fit :)

What is a good gaming motherboard for my setup?
any suggestions??

I already found a few mobo's, but I have no idea what I should get.

I prefer EVGA for gaming, so the EVGA X58 FTW3 | 132-GT-E768-KR. You'll need new RAM, the X58 only supports DDR3; you made a typo w/DDR2. Crysis takes most single GPUs to their knees; I run it 8XAA, and the EVGA is x16, x16/x16, x16/x8/x8.
