1. Not really familiar with CUDA. None of my current software requires it. What is the advantage?
2. is it worth the extra $$$?
3. yes, I have a blue ray player and a couple of HD video cameras.

1. If you're actually a graphic and movie edition professional then yes, CUDA saves you tons of time. CUDA is used for anything require parallel computations. It significantly speeds up many graphical things, including filters in adobe products, rendering and data analysis.

2. If you're spending $2,500 you should be using one. If you're spending $1,500 then no.

3. Do you need a BURNER, not a player. Blue ray media is pretty useless. Portable hard drives or USB keys are much more convenient, and ultimately cheaper too. The $250 you spend on a burner, you could buy 2 portable 1.5 TB drives.
