The Samsung 830 128gb Sata 3 6gb/s SSD claims its max read/write is 520/320, but i feel like i'm only getting half that. Did benchmark on AsSSD and crystaldisk both reported similar numbers. Did a fresh install with win7, enabled trim, ran Samsung SSD magician align it to 4k before install and perform other tricks out there, can someone shed some light on what i'm missing? I may have only a sata 2 controller with my chipset but i can't confirm please help. I provided some images below

Toshiba Satellite L775d-S7340
Motherboard - Pegatron corp
Chipset - AMD55/60 M (hudson)
120gb Samsung 830
Win 7 Home Premium

Your chipset supports 6Gb/s SATA ports, but unless the specs of your particular model states that it has 6Gb/s ports then you can assume that your model doesn't support it.

Manufacturers almost always indicate if their laptops/desktops have 6Gb/s ports as a marketing selling point.

So your benchmarks appear to be normal.

Here's the link to the spec sheet of your laptop: http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content/product/pdf_fil...
