You are going to pay a premium for any socket 775 quad. P.S. The 5830 is also a bit overpriced compared to the 5770's performance. Can't find your answer ? Ask ! Go for either a 5770 or a 5850. And no, That CPU won't bottleneck a 5770 or a 5850 in 95%+ games. ct1615 a c 236 U Graphics card April 24, 2010 11:20:07 PM similar performance between the ATI 5770 and Nvidia GTX260, save your money. I doubt you would even increase FPS with your current CPU and a 5830, itself is not a great leap from a 5770. As far as overclocking goes, go to Tom's OC forum. Post your CPU and mobo and they can help you out. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/forum-29.html ct1615 a c 236 U Graphics card April 24, 2010 11:20:25 PM builderbobftw said:^ Stay away from the 5830 like the plauge. what did he ever do to you? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P._J._Plauger makua April 24, 2010 11:24:42 PM thanks for the support, here's my OC thread http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/258754-29-noob Can't find your answer ?
