Why is the wheel on my wireless mouse suddenly zooming in when I scroll down the page when it has never done this before. I have updated Windows recently.

Hi,

Your update loaded new program, it is probably running in the right bottom corner next to the clock. If its there than go to the wheel properties, when u open that and change it to the vertical scrolling.

Or uninstall that, because windows has one installed in the control panel under Mouse.

I think the mouse problem is connected to the Control key sticking that was giving me keyboard problems. However I think I have released the control keys and the problem seems to have resolved itself, touch wood!

The update is not next to the clock. However, I seem to have resolved the problem by lifting the control key and releasing it. I think someone spilled a drink on it.

Hi,

The program for the mouse would be running, not the update(not all the time anyway).

And if someone have spilled some fluid, it could be easily cleaned.

But if its working, good for you : )
