I DO NOT want to go 3d, I just want to use 3 of these 24" 1920x1080 Acer monitors from newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...9-221-_-Product

Do I need anything special other than these 3 monitors ? Will I even be able to do this with the monitor in that link from newegg? Can I even do this without 3d, with nvidia ?

Wow, that is totally disappointing. I was reading on EVGA's site and this is what I could dig up. It's now 4/25/10 , any nvidia guys know anything about this driver update release they are talking about in this little thing i copied and pasted ?

"Before the new wave of Nvidia Drivers are released to run with the GTX400 series, including Nvidia Surround and Nvidia 3D Surround capability, here are some quick facts about this new technology, and how you can take advantage of it:

These drivers will be available sometime April 2010 (Release 256.xx)
This will only work on Windows Vista & Windows 7 (32/64)
This will only work on GTX 260 and above
SLI is required. The same applies to dual-GPU cards.
You need 3x straight DVI connections, one to each monitor (HDMI connections currently not supported). DVI-HDMI adapters is currently not supported.
You need to be using a minimum of 3 monitors.
For Surround, they can be any model or size. But they all need to have same resolution, refresh rate, and sync.
For 3D Surround, all displays must be the same make and model, and you need 3D Vision-Ready displays and products.
The maximum resolution for each monitor is 2560x1600 (5760x1080 max. combined)

Note: If you dont have 3D Vision-Ready monitors, but meet the rest of the requirements, you can still experience Nvidia Surround, without the 3D capability."
