Keyboard and mouse slow to respond

I canot seem to get my keyboard and mouse respond as it should.Both are really slow and every letter I type the computer pings It all worked fine until nowAnd the backspace key has to be hit repeatedly to erase words.

Sounds like a bad keyboard or a stuck button on the keyboard. Try another keyboard that works from another system.
