What is the resolution of the monitor/TV you are using? You might not be able to play many newer games on much more than bare minumum settings and lower resolutions.

19 inch widescreen. Resolution 1366 to 768

A 4670 or a 5750 might be more up your alley. The 5450 is not a gaming card. Even a 5570 would be a big step up, but still not much in the way of gaming.

HD 5450 would be an excellent HTPC choice but its very weak in 3D gaming.
You would have trouble will most of the modern games.

It looks like It sucks, 9600 would be better I guess, but I really want ATI.

Sapphire HD 4670 £58 should get the job done for you. Sapphire is a leading ATI video card MFGR.

I think that 4670 is what I will go for. Thanks for it, but would 5450 would run COD 4-Waw and Source games just out of interest.

5450 would run Source games like Left 4 Dead. At 1280x1024 resolution and medium graphics settings it could get 30-35fps most of the time.
COD4 would also run but I think you might need to use low graphics settings to get the same 30-35fps most of the time.
COD5 run @ 1280x1024 and max graphics quality reached about 15fps.

Left 4 Dead at max quality:
