Are the Nexis FLC-3000 or VCT-9000 cpu coolers compatible with AMD's socket F. Even though Nexis says they are for AM2/3 I've seen that AM3 is compatible with AMD's 940 which is compatible with Socket F. Nexus offers a cooler for Socket F but it's noise levels are not nearly as impressive as the two mentioned. Can you clear this up?

Socket F uses a different cooler mount mechanism IIRC, two holes in the middle instead of 4 on the AM2/3.
That explains the confusion....the chips may be pin-compatible but cooler mount is not. Thanks for the explanation
