Which RAM, DDR333 or DDR400?

I recently had my DFI LanParty UT nF3 250Gb mobo recapped and am rebuilding it for possible use as a media system/DVR. The board has three 184-pin DDR slots and supports up to 3 GB of PC2700 (DDR333) memory, and also supports up to 2GB of PC3200 (DDR400) memory. I have both 3GB of DDR333 as well as 2GB of DDR400, hence I am able to max it out with either. So, is it more beneficial to use more of a slower RAM chip (i.e. DDR333) or less of a faster RAM chip (i.e. DDR400)? My gut tells me that it may be better to get more (3GB) of the slower RAM (DDR33), but I really don't know, and I'm looking for some guidance and reasons for your answers. Also, is there a way to test this without spending big bucks on some benchmark program? Thanks in advance.

You want more RAM not bigger speed. DDR333. You won't notice any difference between 2G 400/333 but you definitely will, between 2/3GB.
