depends. if its overclocked then its good, not great though.

if its stock, then ok+ it the word i use :p
  2. Looks good... of course if you want to play Dragon Age a Quad would add some fps.. but it looks good... if i was going to upgrade something on that rig.. i'd probably buy a CPU cooler and OC somewhat
  3. can i overclock this to increase the number of FPS without a cooler

For safety reasons, get a decent cooler. You wouldn't want to fry your CPU just because you don't want to get a cheap cooler, now would you? ;)
  5. i know but i was just saying if i could i am new to this kinda of thing, anyways thanks for the heads up :)
  6. what kind of cooler would someone suggest for me
  7. What case do you have - we want to check that it fits.
  8. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100008000&IsNodeId=1&bop=And&ActiveSearchResult=True&CompareItemList=574|35-207-004^35-207-004-S01%2C35-103-064^35-103-064-TS]CM Hyper TX3 92mm cooler or Sunbeam Core-Contact Freezer120 mm CPU Cooler
The Hyper TX3 should fit in an average to narrow sized case. The Sunbeam CCF should fit in the slightly larger gaming size case.
  9. I tried OC my 7300 to 3.6GHz with stock small little HSF, but that's the max of it.
    Max load temp around 70~72c.
But better be safe than sorry, get a decent cooler.
Coolermaster Hyper 212 plus, i think that's what they called it.
  10. thanks everyone
