JMICRON driver needed? Not using raid array

Hey all, sorry if this is a dumb question.

I just setup a new rig and this is my first build that came with a Jmicron raid driver. Do I need to install it even though I just have 1 SATA drive connected to a 6gig port? I am obviously not using raid of any kind at this point. Just curious if it will cause issues with or without it installed.

Thanks!

If you don't use it then disable it in the BIOS so Windows doesn't fuss about it. I generally install all my drivers; I don't like seeing {? or !} in my Device Manager. No, if it's not being used your not required to install a driver if the 'device' isn't being used, and if is has no dependencies.
