I have an Acer Veriton X275 machine on which I just installed Windows XP Professional x64.

The audio device is listed as HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0662&SUBSYS_10250407&REV_1001\4&6FA8A16&0&0001
and I cannot seem to find a driver to download for it. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Never, never, ever, install XP 64-bit on hardware that did not originally come with it preinstalled. Driver support is VERY poor, and applications support is also poor.

If you need a 64-bit OS then purchase Windows 7 64-bit.

Finally found one at www.realtek.com, and pretty much now have loaded what I need to run the software I use.

But thanks for taking the time to give advice PhilFrisbie. I would take it had I not had trouble with the Windows 7 64-bit system with which the machine came.

OK, but Windows 7 64-bit is MUCH more stable and easier to support than XP 64-bit. . .
