"How about is 200 au? about $170 us"
It doesn't work like that, here in Australia the prices are a lot higher then just the exchange rate. For example an i7 930 here is $350 and there it is $250/? not too sure. Obviously that doesn't change your message, I was just informing you.

You WILL not get it for a few hundred bucks. Theres no such thing as a cheap lunch with ebay, there are hundreds of people who want that computer. If you really don't believe me then just wait till it gets a little closer to the end date.

Yeah of course its for real, its got 9 days to go. It will skyrocket up to a price which is more then its worth....

[EDIT]
Its also not very good anyway, an i7 920 with a 9800GT for something that's meant to be a gaming PC. Pffft. Build yourself.

I know it's sort of a mismatch of components... but if I can get it at a decent price, then it would be okay until I have the money for a full build (which I still don't) I'm thinking of only a few hundred a my max.

How about is 200 au? about $170 us... certainly you're not getting this comp for this price. The proc alone cost more then that currently. And ask him to include the dvds for the software since it's obviously boot-legged warez. (shot in the dark but I bet I'm right).

Also what's with that wiring job? I know theres no cable management room behind the tray but it's still very sloppy at best.

edit: good call punkinator. Such a dated video card for a modern proc. I bet the guy got it for free from a friend and threw it into that mess of a "rig."

heheh.. if he can include even just the hardware for a few hundred I could at least re-sell them. If dvds and so forth can be *negotiated* into being bundled in, then it'd be OK for few hundred bucks, right?

heheh - bout the price - definitely.

There are still a few other things with a day or so left that a re selling at about half their worth.. should be able to find a pretty good deal one day.

in regards to cheap lunches, I actually have a friend who makes 100s of ebay sell/buying. He recently got either a 470 or 480 (can't remember) that worked for only a hundred bucks, so there a still a few good deals, but not many. lots of ripoffs though...

Yes but...lots of people are going to be sitting there waiting for it to get to >30 seconds and then they will bid. So with computers and stuff even 1 day is too much to tell the actual price. But anyway try to get something cheap as thats always good.

Have any good auctions ended? Any good deals? I doubt you will find much, save up and build something new. How long would you have to wait to have the money?

Ha yes I heard they breed like.....rabbits. I had a look at your pictures very 1337 bunnies, "Dusty" can certainly hide. =]. We are not allowed rabbits up here in stupid QLD otherwise I think I would have some.

considering I have to do OHS and be 14+9months to get a job..(underage, so I'm yr 9) probably more than 12 months if I can't negotiate with my parents for something.. wouldn't mind finally getting something for my exam results

heheh.. can become.. *interesting* when they try to multiply with each other anyway lol. hmm.. haven't taken any new pics in a while. On a last bit of more offtopic, since when was cannabis legal in WA, ACT and NT? I found out yesterday.. and I thought it was a joke. Weird how things are so different between the states/territories.

Thanks for best answer. =]

I thought it was only legal in SA, thats funny. But you are in SA, isn't it legal there for personal use? Yeah the difference is a fair bit but not like the USA though, they've got like places where guns are fully legal and then states where you need licences. Also Hardcore porn is legal in ACT I think....the pollies like their pr0n.

If your parents need a new comp then build one with a little more power so that you can use it for gaming.
