I am currently running Windows 7 and tried to burn a DVD using windows burning utility which asked me whether to burn as a Flash Drive or regular DVD.
I chose Flash Drive and windows started to format the DVD.
Even after 40 minutes progress bar didn't move, so I ejected DVD.
But after that my DVD-RW doesn't read any blank DVD.
Sometime, it says that "Insert Disk" or some time another error which says:

"Windows can't read the disk. Make sure that the disk uses a format that windows recognizes. If the disk is unformatted, you need to format before using it."

But the same day and earlier I was able to Burn DVDs using Burn4free which doesn't show any disk either now.

More about : reading blank dvds

Give the PC a reboot, windows might still be trying to burn the disk.

Thanks for the software. It started reading disks after I installed this software. It is a better software then Burn4free in burning.
