I need a replacement part for my Gateway Solo 9500. I need the Power
Connector; the thing that you plug the AC adapter cable into.

Gateway won't provide replacements, they want $299.00 to fix it themselves.

I know a local computer shop that will soder it on for $40.00

Where do you get a replacement for this?

Do you have to replace the whole motherboard, find another laptop? I don't
get it!
