Hard Drive Transition

I'm getting a new pc, everything except for the HDD. If I re-use the old HDD, do I need to reinstall windows? I'm not sure how this works.

Typically yes.

I know some people will say you can uninstall all the drivers and migrate the drive over but I personally haven't done this with success.
