Hi

Currently i have my PSU set up to that takes in air from underneath the case, and pushes it out the rear.

Could changing this setup, so that the GPU exhausts air via the PSU out the back of the case have any adverse effects on the PSU??

Case:CM 690
PSU:650w corsair non-modular
GPU: 5770

GPU-Z says my card maxes in the high 70s to low 80s

any input would be appreciated

Solution
well it would increase PSU temps obviously. it would reduce lifespan, but you would need to look at the exact temps to find out if they are sustainable.

given the high quality unit, i would expect it to cope fine with the extra heat (though it may become quite loud). lifespan should still be far longer than you would need though.
