I have a Kingston Hyper 120 GB SSD Hard disc and for the last couple of months my computer doesn't recognize this hard drive once every two weeks or so.
So if I replug this SSD hard drive my computer recognizes the hard drive again.

Is this a problem with my SSD hard drive or perhaps my motherboard ( Asus p8p67-m )?
I have already looked on the dutch forums and they said that the Kingston SSD series give problem.

I'm looking forward to your answer.

If the SSD is periodically disconnecting while the computer is operating this could indicate SSD failure.

More importantly, is the P8P67 that you have the revised edition that fixed the SATA-II controller PLL voltage problem? If it is the original version then your PCH may be failing, fortunately they were all recalled so just contact Asus to have it replaced. I have a P8P67 REV 3.0 in my old desktop, works like a charm.

In the mean time, the SATA-III ports should still function without any issue so try attaching it there and see if it disconnects less often.

EDIT: got the bug location confused

Could be a combination of the two.

Update your SSD's firmware to version 501.
Update your motherboard's BIOS to version 3602.
