how do I remove the write protection from my dvds which have videos on them.

you cannot remove the write protection from dvd's because the session is closed the only thing you can do is copy them to a folder on your desktop from there you can edit them with software or copy them to new blank dvd without closing them in windows 7 you can use them like a usb drive and add more files later.
