Cant start in safe mode or any mode

Hello, i have a virus or 10. couldn't get the CPU to quit running hard, so I shut it down and went to restart in safe mode. I get nothing , just a black screen. Is there any way to fix this?

try to boot from a cd first.. see if that works....(linux live cd) then format or reinstall windows.. OR try a antivirus cd that has a option Native Boot Scan.. and use that bootable antivirus scanner to clean ur pc....good luck.....
