Computer Virus

Hello,
My computer got a virus,the 1wanting 200.00 within 48 hours. I knew it was a hoax/virus. Within min. my computer screen went blank,Now when I turn on the Computer the screen says NO SIGNAL TO MONITOR.....Can this be fixed/and how can i fix it?

no signal to monitor is just connection problem from pc to monitor. check out all the connections
