How do i chose which harddrive to save to.

Well i built my first computer yesterday and i have a SSD and a HDD this is the first time i have had more than one hard drive on a computer and i wanted to know how you chose what gets saved to what hardrive because i don't want to save all my files and programs to my SSD.
also is there a way that i can save only certain games from steam to my SSD?

during the installation of a program you can choose a destination folder. like C:\Program Files or D:\Program Files if you want to put it on your secondary hard disk.

is there a way for me to put my music, downloads, and picture folders on my hdd they are currently on my ssd and i dont have much space on that so i don't want them to take any room on my ssd
