TOTAL NEWBE HERE - HIS RADEON HD 4670 AUDIO/VIDEO ISSUES

Hello,
REPLACED MY STOCK NVIDIA GFORCE 200 SERIES CARD WITH THIS CRAZY LOOKING DO-HICKY SO I COULD WATCH ONLINE MOVIES ON MY LED HDTV IN 7.1 SURROUND. FOLLOWED ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS AND DOWNLOADED ALL THE DRIVERS AND HERE'S WHERE I STAND;

1. NO AUDIO - SEARCHED THIS SITE AND FOUND SOME ANSWERS HOWEVER FOR ME - MY MP3 FILES PLAY BUT NOTHING ELSE DOES???
2. I GO TO ENABLE MY HDTV AS AN EXTENSION OF MY DESK TOP AND NOTHING HAPPENS...EEK WHY????

OH YEAH, I AM RUNNING WINDOWS XP WITH SP3.

ok so i went into bios and audio was enabled.
disabled the ati audio in device manager.
everything else is enabled and says its working properly however i still have no sound on the internet/ or system sounds but my windows media player has sound for mp3 or online movie clips. i still have no picture or sound through the hdmi out. thinking theres a driver still not working right or conflicting with the new ati stuff????
