I can remote desktop into a computer, but I can't use //"computername"

On every computer in my house, if I want to stream something from my server, I can go to start>run and just type \\gomuhzserver, which is the computer name of the server, and stream whatever I want. But when I do it on this computer, I get an error messege: "Windows cannot access \\gomuhzserver and gives me the error code 0x80070035 The network path was not found. Which is BULLSHIT. Because I have another laptop right here, and I'm connecting to it no problem. The other weird thing is this problem randomly started on this computer. Before that it worked just fine. Remote desktop works fine on this computer when I want to connect to the server, just not the \\gomuhzserver thing. . I'm guessing this is some kind of firewall problem? I poked around for a bit and got no where. So...help?

try turning the firewall off to see if that is the issue or not. Also if it just stopped working one day I would be more inclined to think it is a virus or malware changed some network settings try running a scan see what turns up.
