Spotted similar daily deal at LogicBuy this morning:

Things are getting interesting. According to mainstream articles and financials, Micron, the parent company of Crucial, initiated price reductions and has led the pack this year. I wonder if they are just having excellent wafer and chip yields or simply trying to be very very competitive. Probably a combination of both.

In the meantime, there are all sorts of reports and rumors that OCZ is up for grabs. Speculation is that Seagate will acquire OCZ. OCZ posted a 6 million dollar loss for the first quarter this year.

I caught that also, the artical I read also speculated that micron might also be interested in OCZ. But then they use to own Curcial and spun them off. Micron needs to do something, have 200 shares.

I think seagate want to buy ocz. Don't buy those, because SSD and HD prices are going down now, those companies only can get low gross profit mean low revenue and low Stock price.
