What is the difference between uv cathode and cold cathode?

which one is the one that illuminates the whole case and which type if the one that make UV reactive things glow? I am going to purchase some for my new case. Anything else I should pay attention to when purchasing? also any links would be awesome.

Most case lighting tubes are cold cathode (some recent ones use LEDs). Cold cathode tubes come in several colors: red, blue, green, and UV. The UV ones produce a violet "black" light that causes UV-reactive components to glow brightly. SVC has some reasonably priced kits here.
