I have just purchased a JVC D33 (GR33EK) a little bit impulsively!
I did go out with the intention to buy a Digital Camcorder, but not this
one!
I couldn't resist it for the price I paid, which included 10% off on top of
a price reduction to start with. Anyway....
..... before I actually open the box. I thought I'd search for a review on
the camera to see if it was a big mistake or not,
I'd be able to return it unopened you see, if it is badly reviewed.
So, does anyone have any experience of this camera?
Or know of a web site that has a review of it?
Couldn't find any on 'Google'.
I have the D53E (European Pal system) which is very similar if not
identical. Cheap camera, but has enough functions for me to video children,
birthdays etc.

Cheers George.
That is basically what I wanted mine for.
Although I do have 2 of my children doing 'media studies' at school/uni who
need a camera to record and edit there own (short) movies.
So 'functions' are good!
I cannot get onto your link at the moment, I've been invaded by 'Blazefind'
again and keep getting diverted to their search engine.
Jeez why do people do this
So I need to 'Spybot' my computer again before I can look further.
But as I need to get up for work in 5 hours, I better leave it for tonight!
Thanks again.

P.S. Any advise on getting rid of 'Blazefind' once and for all!

Get AdawareSE (www.lavasoft.com) as well, update them both (and your AV
software) while online. Then shutdown and restart in Safe mode (press
F8 while it boots). Then run Spybot and Adaware one after the other,
fixing everything they find. Also run your AV software. Then restart
normally. If problem returns, repeat process, but this time restart
into Safe mode a *second* time and run them all over again! Some users
have reported further problems with Blazefind changing this key:
from "C:\WINNT\system32\userinit.exe," to
"C:\WINNT\system32\wsaupdater.exe," or something else. If it has,
change it back with regedit, but ONLY if you have a problem after
running Spybot and AdawareSE, and only if you are familiar with
registry editing.
