The CPU is a very nice quad core CPU. The graphics are also good for a laptop:

Scroll down the page I linked to for some gaming benchmarks

Uhh ricky, what are you talking about? That's a dual-core, are you thinking desktop? Also that CPU is considered pretty high-end on the laptop side. The graphics is pretty high, sorta, you'll be able to run games like CSS fine, as for games like TF2, it'd be a just barely on normal settings.

You're right

That is a DUAL core with hyperthreading and has 2 physical cores and 4 virtual cores. It a nice CPU for laptops.

The GPU is like desktop hd 5650 or lower, so you can play and newer games on medium @ 720p resolution. Older games on high settings.

rofl :D

For desktops only i5-750 and i5-760 are true quad-cores. Other i5's are i5-6xx series and are duals with hyperthreading. For laptops i dunno if there is a true i5 quadcore.

Lol, fail?, XD But no there are no TRUE quad cores from the i3-i5 line for the notebook. The only quad core chips for the laptops from intel's current chips is the i7's. Also, i5-540 <--- anything below 7XX is probably going to be a dual like unknown_13 said.
