I have a seagate external hard drive that is recognized by my computer but i can

My seagate drive works fine on my mac but when I connect to my windows laptop it is recognised but I cannot use it to store anything. Can anyone help me?

  1. its probably formatted with the mac file system HPFS which is not readable by default in windows.
