Upgrading from 8400GS, Leaning towards NVIDIA?

Hey everyone. My uncle just gave me a gift card to tiger direct for $100 bucks for a new graphics card. Right now, I am running a 8400 GS and I want to upgrade. The problem is, I'm stuck on which graphics card I should get. Here are the choices I narrowed it down to.

I also heard things about the GTS 250 being better.

The only thing is, I am unsure of which I should get. People are telling me to get ATI because it's better. And others are telling me to get NVIDIA because I get physx and sort of thing. Can someone help me with input on what I should do?

I plan to play games like Batman Arkham Asylum, Crysis, and Aion.

GTS250 and HD4850 perform the same.

Alright, so over all. Should I go for GTS250, HD4850, 9800GTX+ or HD5670?

Out of the GTS250, HD4850, and 9800GTX+, get whichever one is the cheapest. They all perform the same. Though if you could spend $30 more for an HD5770, you won't regret it!

Lol. I wish I had the extra $30. I only have that $100 giftcard, the highest my parents will put in is like $15 bucks. So the 5670 is like the best i can find. After research, I'm kind of leaning towards the NVIDIA series.
