I just received my motherboard ECS Black Series P45T-A with my new Antec 902.

I'm having problems with putting my GPU, HD 5770 into the PCI Express slot. HD 5770 has an extra tab compared to my 8600 GT which could be a reason it doesn't fit, but it fits well on my previous motherboard.

The problem with this motherboard is it has a white piece on top of the red slot which blocks me from putting my GPU into the slot. I have linked the product below:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Also my GPU:

I tried to remove that white part with medium amount of force to see if it is removable, but it seems it is not removable. The white piece is able to wiggle that is why I thought it could be removable. Is it removable?

More about : motherboard

a c 103 B Homebuilt system
a c 1033 V Motherboard

That white thing is a lock that is supposed to lock in your card over the hook at the back of the connector. It looks to me that you need to pull (slide) it back before install and then push it back if it is not already spring loaded.
